It seems like the amount that you are likely to suffer in life is heavily determined by where God allows you to be born?

Why does he allow such unfairness?

In 2007 exceedingly few North Americans get malaria. Not so few Africans do.

So is this still a stupid question, or just too hard for you to answer? We religious people have an obligation to think about the tough questions.

I don't think it's God's fault that people in Africa get malaria... man sinned and thus death and sickness entered the world... North Americans however have a better health care system, many areas of Africa are torn apart by armed conflict... war displaces people... refugee camps and IDP camps often do not have clean water or proper sanitation... thus malaria is much more deadly.... yes this does seem unfair but malaria, aids, starvation, and other maladies faced by the African people are by and large products of mans in humanity to man, as Westerners it is very difficult to understand the difficulties faced on the continent of Africa... the USA has not faced civil war for decades... but Africa seems to be marked by it, as rebel groups(the LRA) prey upon citizens and governments pay people to slaughter inferior races and cultural groups (example: Darfur, Sudan)... And yet although it may be difficult to relate to the social and economic problems that plague Africa it is our duty and our honor to go and be the hearts and hands that help initiate change... we have been given the great responsibility to humbly serve, help, heal, and restore.... we have been given the great commission to show them love and mercy.... we are given the honor to love the unloved, touch the untouchable, see the invisible... we are called to be world changers and planet shakers. Be the change you wish to see in the world.

ummmm
Malaria has happened in North America and in the Southern part of North America in particular. Malaria generally thrives with the mosquitoes who thrive in the tropics.

And what about West Nile...

A little misguided and misinformed it seems.

Actually, malara was a bad problem while building the Panama Canal.
It hits people also in places like Louisana

There are good reasons why the imperfect conditions exist today, but the Bible gives hope of better conditions in the near future under the reign of Jesus Christ.

Its not unfair; It is true that the Free Christian Nations of today are blessed of God. This is where the ten tribes of Israel migrated to. They lost their identity, but God knows who they are. They are to be as numerous as the sands of the sea, and they are. They migrated over the caucus mountains and settled Europe, and eventually the usa, canada and other free nations of today. They are known as "caucasions".
God does not "let" anyone suffer. This flesh age was left to man. Look around you and make a note of it: this is what you get when you allow man to handle things.
Sometimes its good, often its not.
Man allows man to suffer, not God.
The difference you see is just that those who are of God, will be blessed of God.

I dont really believe in god , but i bet it aint really his choice, he probably tries to do something else to keep them from that.I dont think he just places them there on purpose , if he is real, oh yea, and if they had funded things to keep up research on it , maybe they wouldnt have that problem???? I live in America, and we support our selfs. your question just really gets me mad, and yea we have problems too in america , it aint like we get nothing bad, and plus i think its a plus for them cause at least they aint killing each other like people in other countries , oh yea and next time you post a question , make sure it aint soooooo stupid, cause people there are most likely poor and cant move from there??

If there is a God, he wouldn't have anything to do with that. The definition of suffer varies from person to person. There are people on the American continents that suffer from diseases as well.

Ever thought you chose to be born there?

God created us, but gave us freewill and the power of creation....perhaps we chose our birth as well.

Why try to blame this on God?

My goodness, if I were an American and I went to Africa and contracted Malaria, would this destroy your flimsy theory about "god" and disease?

It's kinda like when we sit back on the porch after a long day of work and watch the lights from the bug zapper.
