darwins theory states that all the species(including human beings) had evolved from a single celled organism... So it is against christian believes. Is it that so...

Yes! The Bible is very specific, that God created the world, and it will be recreated: Isaiah 65:17-- "For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind."

The plan of redemption was established after Adam fell--we needed a new ruler, and the second Adam (God as a man) redeemed us.

Lucifer invented Darwin's theory to negate God's plan of salvation. Do not believe me? Then read one persons miraculous escape from a "high-level" Satan cult at: www.revelado.org/satanism.htm Their high priest explained it all to them.

It's not only against Christian beliefs it's against the science of statistical probability. The whole theory of macro-evolution is a huge house of cards that doesn't meet the standards of the scientific method that is based on gathering observable, empirical, measurable evidence, subject to specific principles of reasoning.

The probability that random mutations could add enough useful information to the DNA structure of a one celled creature to result in all of the complex and interdependent life forms on earth today is far beyond the figure that scientists have agreed makes something scientifically impossible.

Natural selection that results in a species evolving different characteristics over time can be shown to be true and demonstrated by things like dog and horse breeding. But macro-evolution where a fish like creature eventually becomes an elephant and a giraffe and a hummingbird, etc is not supportable by fossil evidence or by scientific methods.

Well, the bible says God created man. Actually, there are two different creation stories in the bible with two different sets of time lines, and neither mention dinosaurs. By strict biblical interpretation, Darwin and Evolution is a direct contradiction and there are some people who actually believe, despite massive scientific evidence to the contrary, that we were formed in 7 days. There are also those, who have a strong desire to make evolution fit into their faith that there is a God, who will disregard the literal interpretation of the Bible and accept evolution on the grounds that it is "Intelligent Design", that we have gotten here not by natural selection but by the guiding force of God's hand. Most christians have a hard time with evolution because it's basically implies there is no god, and provides a different (and what any logical person would consider a more solid) explanation for how we got here, and not just some simply fairy tale answer riddled with contradictions to observable fact that some supreme being decided to put us were and give us free will and promise us an eternal reward if we love him.

That is correct. Keep in mind that the theory is just that...a theory. It has more holes in it than swiss cheese and no scientific connection can be proven. If it was provable, it would not be a theory but instead it would be a fact. Unfortunately, it is being taught in schools, colleges and universities throughout the world as fact. I know it is easy to start saying things like....well maybe God did take millions of years to create us etc. so it fits in with this theory but we (human beings) should not be second guessing God. I myself was guilty of this very thing for a while because it was the "in thing" to believe but I have since come back to my core belief that the Bible is true. My spirit is once again at peace. Many scientists today are beginning to rethink things a little. They have run into some evidence that Darwin's theory may not be supported by today's scientific knowledge. For some information on that, check out www.thecreationnetwork.org and www.answersingenesis. Both are good sources of scientific evidence that disclaims evolution.

It is against christian belief, yes.. and btw, Davej, it can't be that a day was a billion years long when the bible clearly states "and the evening and the morning were the first day" etc.. science has shown that the earth has actually been slowing down in its rotation, not speeding up.. sorry, your theory just doesn't work. It's either 6 real days or it just didn't happen that way.

Thx silly_fudd..yes, the recant on his deathbed is a hoax !!

Please remember that darwin had two major parts of his theory. Microevolution could be demonstrated and duplicated. Why, even in the mid 90's, on a south pacific island that was in drought....the birds were dying off. Guess what the next batch of hatches brought???!!! Baby birds whose 'beak' was a tad longer than their parents'; and who could now get deep enough into the nuts to get sustenance !!!! Awesome, GOD You are Brilliant !!

On the other hand, macro evolution is and was unprovable and untenable. It's a fable that 'we' / everything evolved from one cell. God / life forms are simply too varied and complex for that to ever have occurred. darwin couldn't prove it and no one else can.....Bury it....with the other dead .

No person not ignoring scientific evidence and clinging to the fairy tale written millions of years after the fabricated event, can deny that there is evidence of an evolution in species. Also, in teaching evolution, the defects in the theory are taught. These defects do not help the case of the creationists..

I've heard it mentioned in several churches that Charles Darwin, on his deathbed, renounced his Theory of Evolution and died a Christian. Though I have yet to find proof of this.
Wouldn't it be interesting though if it were true?
I think Evoulition is a part of our Creater's design, not seperate from it.

Something out of nothing?
You always here them talking about great a theory it is but you never here about the beginning...
There was a big bang...O.k what caused the Big bang?
and Where are there in between links in the fossil record?
Why cant we create life if a big bang of nothing did?
You never hear the flaws.

When you put it that way, it seems that one man's "theory" is a bit much for him or anyone to prove. Guess that may be one reason that Christians have a hard time with Darwin.
