My aunt is getting radiation and her skin is all peeled of under her armpit and neck area.... The doctor gave a creme.. but she is still in SOO much pain... what else can i DO??

Try placing flannel strips (cut up a granny gown if you have to) in her armpits & around her neck after applying the cream. Also, ask her doctor if she could use a sunburn gel or spray containing lidocaine. Lidocaine will numb the painful area.

Radiation treatments, if done correctly, should not cause burns that painful. The tech is doing something wrong. You/your aunt needs to make a big stink with the doctor so this doesn't keep happening.

if the current interventions arent helping the doctor needs to know so he/she can use others. Meantime, moist cool cloths. Easy on the lidocaine, can overabsorb and be toxic on damaged skin.
