Are women just as shallow as men by only judging the outside appearance and not the inside?

It depends on the situation where the men and women are observing each other. There are times when a woman has to make a quick judgement because she is feeling uncomfortable and anticipates that she may be in danger, so she's going to get away from that sitiuation. Other times it could be just people watching and doing a quick analysis of men walking by, giving them a quick once over with a "yea" or "nea". Everone is capable of being shallow, but you have to remember that we have instincts, and man or woman, if you feel like you're being approached by a creep, you're going to want to get away. No everyone is going to like you, just like you are not going to like everyone in the world. Perhaps people are not being very nice to you, maybe you need to find people to hang out with that are more like you, then they will like you the way you are, and you won't have to change yourself. Of course women are as shallow as men by judging only the outside appearance! Anyone who does it is like that.Outside appearance might be an important part of liking somebody,but the inside should always be more important.

Of course. Every animal and especially bird does it. Look at some of the birds of paradise from Papua New Guinea, they are outwardly magnificent, and do the craziest things to impress a mate - and they Do! Its' the same with humans, and all too frequently, they never look further than the surface. Which is why so many people get divorced when they find out just what they've got!

It's hard not to judge someone by outside appearance, since that is the first thing you notice about someone. I don't necessarily think it's shallow by either sex. That doesn't mean to say you discount someone entirely because of their body, but I think it's human nature to be naturally more attracted to people who look good to you.

personally yes .. they may not the lyk the fact that they do this but every1 does .. but sometimes they may judge you straight away but don't let that bother you cos i kno frm experience iv judged them and thought i would never go there but then i got to know the person n now going out with them .. so in a way yes but at the same tym our judgement can change over time

I think both sides are equal. With today's influences with pop culture and all that, the youth tend to start looking towards outer appearances rather than how they are on the inside.

A guy would go "Check out that *** on that fine girl. I'd tap!"
or
"Damn, she's ugly! I wouldn't go with her."

A girl would go "That boy is heeella fine!"
or
"That boy be straight up ugly!"
