I'm a pagan with a degree in world religions.
While I find it funny that a previous poster thinks I worship dirt, I don't think any religion is absurd. I think that if it enhances the quality of a person's life, and does not impose on the will of others, then it cannot be absurd.

My religion is Christianity. I think Scientologist is absurd becuase it came from the mind of science fiction writer who was accuse of many crimes. It souns more like a sci-fi movie than a religion with aliens and galaxies.

No official religions for me
All of them are absurd in a way ... and surely beautiful in others.
For me, the absurdity lies in the concepts of "hell", "the devil vs. god", "eternal damnation" and such. Its so obvious (to me) that these concepts are man-made. Oops. A bit more than a line. Sorry!

Christianity, for ripping off Pagan rituals and celebrations, renaming them and then condemning the very religion from where they came !!
