Hi, i am a 35 yr student of the original manuscripts;
lets start with Genesis:
Read verse 1:1 - "In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the Earth." Do you see the period after "earth"?? Now, when did it say that God did that? It didn't;
just "in the beginning". What you read following that is not the first creation of the earth, it is the refurbishing of the earth to make it fit and habitable for flesh life.
The earth is eons and eons old. There was an entire earth age before this one; you can read of all three earth ages in second peter.
The Book of Hebrews and the Book of Eccles. are both correct. The Earth, meaning the terafirma, is everlasting, and will not ever be destroyed. When Christ returns, this is where we will be living, just as we lived here eons ago in the first earth age. What will perish is the age, not the earth. The ages will change, never the terafirma.

We are fortunate that you don't get to dictate who answers your question.
1) Day is relative to the planet you are on. Earth might be new, but this says nothing about where God was or where he stood (if he can stand). No error, just a limited perspective on your part as to what is possible to any scientifically educated person who is not humanocentric.
2) Even now we have life that exists on the bottom of our oceans that is getting it's energy from heat (heavily abundant in the early days of Earth), NOT from sunlight.
Again, an education in science supplies a possibility where hatred of religion does not.
3) O.K. Good one. Have to twist for this one, and won't do it. Christianity has it's own defenders.
I just don't like some of the nonsense that passes for "Biblical Error" that people pass around without even considering the possibilities. It's ignorant religion bashing by people who can't be bothered to actually read the document the religion bases their beliefs in. They cut and paste such nonsense RATHER THAN EDUCATE THEMSELVES!
Don't do that, please. Christians aren't your personal scratching post.
I'm not a Christian (not religious at all) and I've read the Bible four times! (as well as most other religious texts of various religions)

I do not agree with you there are no errors in the Bible. God told the people that He chose what to say and write It's in the Bible, 11Peter1:21"for prophecy never had its origin in the will of man,but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit" Since the discovery of the " Dead Sea Scrolls" the accuracy of the Bible has been verified. Love the Word of God study the Word, learn the Word-it is a precious treasure and should always be respected and honored. Surely we are living in the last days. Placing our faith in God's Word honors Him. Jesus is the Mighty Warrior, the Captain of the Host. He is our Leader, and He is leading His people into victory.I do not believe that we have to live in fear in these last days. No matter how difficult life may seem, God has promised to provide for His own. He has assured us that we can live in victory if we keep our eyes on Him. We will walk in victory if we do what the Lord says.

I am sorry to say I did not get the chance to read part 1, but I will say your questions are valid. The truth of the matter is the Bible does sometimes appear to contradict itself. But it doesn't. It is consistant, although not complete. The Bible books were assembled by a group of people that decided on which books were to be canonized. The books were edited, some were omitted due to content too graphic, some were laughed at and distroyed. This means that some of the books omitted could have also been spiritually inspired, just not chosen by the scholars that assembled the canon. Due to this fact, with editing being done by these scholars to the writings, some of the "connecting" information may have been omitted. So, especially with the book of Genesis, there will be inconsistancies and things that just don't add up. But don't you fret (lol)...there are places and books you can research that can put you on the right path to fill in those gaps. If you would like more info, email/IM me.

because first, God said "Let there be light." he said that before he made the earth. the earth was without form. God called the light "day". He created darkness and called it night. it doesnt matter about the earth's rotation. He just named light and dark.
the Bible says that anything is possible with God, so to your vegetation error, there is no scientific answer. it's just that God can keep plants alive without the sun if He wants to.
To the last one, well, those who DONT except Jesus into their life will perish. Those who do will live forever. If you want to live forever, it's not a matter of good or bad, it's a matter of saved or not saved.
hope you read everything. and i hope this helps.

There are no errors in God's word. there are errors in understanding God's word. God cannot make mistakes because he is perfect. Unless you have had expert instruction in the Bible, then you cannot possibly understand what you view as mistakes. There is no quickie course on the Bible---it takes years of study to comprehend it, yea even a lifetime may not be enough. It takes study under several teachers to get a grasp of it. The subjects that you have brought up are really quite trivial. Jesus is the really important concern---do you accept his atoning grace or do you not? If you do not accept Jesus, then it is pointless to study the rest of the Bible. the entire Bible rests upon the divine nature of Jesus of Nazareth and his gospel.

Its blasphemous to say that there are errors in the bible. In the beginning the heavens and the earth were already there. But it was formless and dark so God created light. He called light day and darkness night on the first day etc etc.. the bible is very clear. READ GENESIS REPEATEDLY AND UNDERSTAND.

Ok number one - in the Antarctic they don't even GET daylight during the winter. Does this mean that two or three months is just one day?
Two - Ever heard of night time? Maybe you should check your plants to see if they're dead. I think they could live without sunlight for a few hours.
Three - maybe you should check your context ;-) This is too much of an obvious one to even bother with.
PS And I'm not even a christian!

There is no error in the word of God. Can God make a mistake? Never! Your small mind is too small to fathom God"s greatness. Accept the word of God the way it is and let it bless your life.
