You need really good credit to get cash on the spot. I had two of those go through in the time I worked for Block, simply because, I suppose, people with really good credit usually don't need cash that fast. Most people end up with the loans you get in two days. Alternatively, there is the facility which lets Block take their fee out of your refund. That costs, I believe, an extra $25 and you get the money in about 9-16 days, depending on what time of the week you file. Do you think that would work for you? Please think about it very carefully.

Normally it varies. It doesn't cost anything to TRY to get instant money. and if you are not approved for instant money that 9 times out of 10 if you don't owe the IRS or child support or something like that you can get the money the next day with a rapid refund. Most of the time it only cost about 85-100 dollars extra. To some people its worth it.

The total cost to you depends on the cost of tax preparation and the amount of the refund. H&R Block has tables which will estimate your costs, you can ask over the phone.

For example, if you have a $1,000 refund the bank fees for a $1,000 instant loan are $67. To this you will add the tax preparation fees. All fees are deducted from the loan proceeds.

As everyone stated, its not worth the cost. If you electronically file your tax return and have it direct deposited to your account, you should have the money in 2 - 3 weeks.

There is really no reason to have your tax refund now.

Way too much. And it isn't "instant", it does take a couple of days. The APR is as high as 2533%. That's worse than some loan sharks. You'd actually get a better deal at a pay-day money store, not that I'd ever recommend one of those scammers.
