Very few cells can divide a limitless number of times. Bacteria is one kind and cancer is another I think. The only way those cells die is if they are starved, lack of water or some other outside source.

So to answer your question, no life can't be unlimited. The simple wear and tear of daily life that causes cell regeneration shortens your life. Just like all living things, cells are created, divide a certain number of times(grow up) and die.

Be very thankful that people (all living things) die. If animals including people did not die it would be wall to wall, shoulder to shoulder people in a very short time. All life would cease do to overcrowding. It has been built into living things that they have a finite life time. Life can not be unlimited.
