with original widows 98 can we download genuine software from Microsoft website?

Will there software work on windows Xp (not original) after download these softwre from Microsoft site using windows 98 (original) then burn disk and install softwares on windows Xp (not original)?

No this will not work, Microsoft does not support new downloads for software it no longer supports, which is anything olderthen, and including, Windows ME.
