Britain has such a vast range of accents that it's difficult to generalise. It's true that we do tend to categorise people from their accents, but this is largely based on stereotypes and experience. If, for example, a doctor talks to you in "Oxford English" then you will be confident that he knows what he's talking about; on the other hand if he talks to you in Cockney, then you may not be so convinced. That, however, is from my point of view - a Londoner may feel totally different and more at ease with the Cockney doc.
As well as liking a range of British accents, I like the New York "educated" accent, the clipped South African and the Australian - probably because I lived there for 5 years.

As in united states, there are countless British accents, yet you probable mean some thing like the "BBC accent". As a prevalent rule, sounds in English accents are formed more suitable ahead interior the mouth than the same American sounds. i think the in problem-free words different aspect i might want to allow you to comprehend is to objective to imitate the sounds you listen, somewhat the vowels.

British....and why not? It's the ENGLISH language.
Enough said! ;)
ALL other accents are just as interesting as it gives a little personal touch to the person who speaks it.

I like Queen Elizabeth's accent, although it's not pure British accent.
If u hear and listen clearly, u'll find that Queen Elizabeth's English is quite different.

I like most American accents, just because they can sound very sexxy. I like my own accent, the Australian accent for the same reason. I like most accents but I don't really like the English accent much, it's a bit gay (not that there is anything wrong with that) for my liking.
