If you can, try to go back to sleep and sleep through it. However even a little snack that late will actually kick your metabolism into effect since after 8 hours it slows down to conserve. I think it's fine, but I would go with something not high in calories or carbs. Try special K with strawberries, or one of those.

Get up at 3 am. Answer nature,s calls. Have Tooth brusing. Take bath. Do some yoga &meditation. Then have some cereal at 4 am. Then it will be prefect. This will give you lot of energy for the day & keep you healthy. On the contray if just wake up at 4 am & have food just like that & again sleep , it will be cetainly ill-healthy
Follow the old saying " Early to bed & early to rise makes a man healthy wealthy & wise"

Cereal with skim or low fat milk would be a good healthy snack. If you're trying to limit calories and are going by the calories listed on the side of the box, you're supposed to measure the cereal to make sure you're measuring out the right amount. Still, it's not Hagen Daz so you're ahead.

Of course you can eat cereal at four in the morning,only bad thing that can happen is that the noise of you chewing your Crunchy Stuff might wake the rest of the household.

I think cereal is a perfect middle of the night snack. Be sure to brush your teeth afterwards as most cereal contains sugar which can cause cavities.

Exactly what did you think might happen? Millions of night shift workers eat cereal and other things at 4 AM and I never heard of anyone exploding yet.

Cereal is one of my favorite snacks, and especially if you choose a healthy one.
