Trilastin is marketed to individuals who have recently lost a significant amount of weight, are pregnant or those who engage in weight lifting activities that cause the skin to stretch. But anyone who wishes to treat or prevent stretch marks can use the product.
This product is not only marketed to protect the skin from creating new stretch marks, but also to repair older scars.
Consumer response, as quoted on Trilastin.com, is very positive for both the original Trilastin and Trilastin SR. Many of the responses state that the product is well worth the higher cost and they would recommend it to their friends.

I know this sounds cliche but consider them the blessing scars. It's been twenty something years and I tried everything. They're still there. :)

no, you can do laser or thermage to shrink them, use lotions
but mostly they fade with time and there's no big cure, despite all the hype
