I feel disgusted that people can be so cruel to have nailed a man in a cross and glorifying it as a means of salvation. For the jews it was riddance and for christians it was redemption!!! How about the victim? Did he enjoyed his suffering just to "save" us?

DEFINITELY NOOOOO!

Like most human, he was helpless with all that pain. And like all of us, what can a person say in time when he feels no one was there to help him? The bible said he was completely deserted!!!

All abandoned him and fled (Mark 14:40)

He finally said with all that frustrations and feeling of abandonment...

ELI, ELI, LAMA SABACHTANI!!!

My God, my God, why have you forsaken me!

Is this a statement of a willing and a happy victim????

I saw so many Filipinos nailed themselves willingly to the cross but never encountered anyone wailing the same frustration as this victim had.

The sin that Jesus lifted from me is the one i inherited from my 'first' parents, Adam and Eve.
They were created perfect with the prospect of never having to die. When they disobeyed God, the result was they did eventually die. We all have been dying ever since. 2,000 years ago Jesus paid the price with his perfect life to buy back for us the right to again live without the prospect of death. As promised at Revelation 21;4.
The price has been paid. All I have to do is be obedient until Armageddon, and If I am approved, will be able to continue life on this earth without ever having to die.
As promised at Psalm 37;11

I am unbelievably thankful that, though I had no time for God, God had time for me.

It pains me to think that it is because of me Jesus had to suffer and die as He did, and yes I am guilty, without a doubt.

But here is the thing, though it is because of me Jesus died, though I am guilty, because of what Jesus did do I am now free from this, free from guilt, free from the penalty of sin, free from the power of sin.

So am I happy? Yes indeed.

Another phrase I would add here is humbled, I am incredibly humbled that a Creator God would care enough about me, that He would send His son to die for me. If we take stock of that, meditate upon that we can be nothing else but humble...

Happy? Absolutely! As for being guilty, Jesus endured a great deal of pain before and during His crucifiction, I understand, but He was the only one equipped to die. He was (and is) holy whereas everyone else on earth is born with a sinful nature. It was necessary for Him to sacrifice Himself so man could go to Heaven. So basically my happiness outrules my guilt. :)

I feel that Jesus was a victim of child abuse by his father. Jesus never had a say in his father's decision to use his son to further his own agenda. Jesus had some choice words for his father while on the cross, although Catholicism puts the words in milder language like, "Father, why have you forsaken me?" Apparently God didn't realize that the majority of people on this planet will choose not to be Christian and could care less about Jesus Christ. If God had given his son immortality, he would still be alive today, working his miracles. None of today's religions could compete with that.

I'm a Atheist. Romans didn't have a viable reason to kill him. But he wasn't magical in anyway. Also a question for Christians. Why do you guys say why are the Jews complaining about the holocaust when Jesus died for them or supposedly died for them. I meen common one prophet eleven million Jews which is worse??

Sad because the world was so corrupt that God sacrificed His Son to cleanse us of ours sins.
Guilty that we as humans could not live a sin free life and a sacrifice had to be made for us
Happy that God loves me enough to allow that sacrifice
Unworthy because none truly "deserve" that much love, grace and mercy

Jesus died because of sin, we still have to ask him for forgiveness for our own sins. See how popular opinion changes Gods message?

I feel awesome!!! And really really thankful and appreciative cuz it was a huge job to do. I mean, imagine what he went through just for us. But then again i feel guilty cuz it was my sin that put him there. But since he loved us so much, he made a choice for our own benefit. And i rekon that's just ...incredible.

As a Christian, I feel guilty and sad. I am only God's creature. Why should an innocent man die for me? But in the scriptures, it is stated that He must suffer and die to fulfilll the Prophecies.
