I just got my hair colored at the salon and it came out a lot darker than I thought it would. I am a natural blonde who is going gray and I wanted to cover the gray, but stay close to my natural color. At any rate, it came out much darker than I expected--everyone in my family hates it. If I go back to the colorist at the salon, is there anything she could do to make it lighter or am I just stuck with it for the next 2 months??

Go back and ask them for a Malibu treatment. It takes out the minerals off your hair so it looks lighter. I had it done to my hair after the woman colored it too dark. The longer she leaves it in on, the lighter the hair gets.If they don't know what a Malibu treatment is go to a salon where they know what it is.
