Well I think that perhaps god did not create mankind. Perhaps 'evil' is simply a matter of which side of no-mans-land one happens to have a trench... Those on one side say, "We are the good guys, god is with us and the enemy is evil..." and those on the other side say, "We are the good guys, god is with us and the enemy is evil..." Both sides are sincere, both are devout and righteous, but perhaps both are also human and fallible... and wrong. Perhaps "Good" and "Evil" are simply the lies we use to justify violence, greed and ignorance and hatred. Perhaps I am mistaken, since I am also human and fallible, but perhaps I am not. I think sometimes when the truth is unpleasant we try to deny it, but I think we can do better if we try to accept responsibility for ourselves and our actions and stop trying to either excuse away or deny our humanity.
My answer is that there may not be a reason why we have come to be in this particular place, but if we decide to take responsibility for ourselves and our actions in the future there might be a very good reason to be here in the future - we just need to create one.

There is no evil in the creation. All are balancing principles for the creation to continue. We only label something as evil and something as good. In God, there is neither good nor bad. God is beyond dualities. It is in human mind, the concept of evil or good.

The Almighty God is a God of Love and He wanted someone to share that Love with, so He created man.

God gave us the choice to love Him or not to love Him. If it were not a choice, then we could not truly love Him. The problem, though, is that people use the free will that God gave them to live for themselves and their own selfish ways instead of loving Him. The problem isn't God.

Not evryone is evil like Oprah, Mother Teresa, etc. There r lots of good ppl. Also i think we were made cause God wanted to be loved or ppl to see his glory. It is kind of pointless to have almighty power but no one to praise you.

The answer is :
Understand thy purpose at this time is self development of thy soul.
This planet has become very dark through man's thoughts and actions.
It is a testing time for thy soul to develop. For the ego to resist thy self, to turn away from greed, to seek the Truth.

There is no answer to "why". Once you answer it, it leaves the answer open to the question "why," ad infinitum.
