i'm not affraid of them nor do i treat them differently. I deal with individual not a whole race. If someone says something I don't like i'm not going to hate the whole race for it... that's ignorant.

i think that started to happen after 9\11 and the war in iraq and what the tv news are showing about the terrorists who claim that they are muslims and then bumb
and kill other people wether they were muslims or not.....people had an idea
about the muslims and that they are dangerous and that islam call for stuff like that WHICH is not true and ignorant ..!
so they started to get afraid from us
and treat us differently and some of them do it in a very bad way..!

The misrepresentation of Muslim belief systems, and subsystems in the media have demonized Muslims. There are fanatics in all religions; currently it is the Muslim's that are the current target.
Then there is the media that perpetuates the myths and misunderstandings.

I am a Muslim and don't have this problem. I have friends that are Christian, Jews, Hindu, and Sikh. I have a brother who is atheist. They don't really care if I am a Muslim or not. However good and bad people exist in all societies.
I think it is more of a media propaganda that's it :)

It is common to anyone to feel threatened or afraid of something which they do not understand. That's include the religion and its people. Unless they have good exposure on the subject or the religion and its people, they will have better understanding and interaction with the group. However, if they remain to be negative about the particular religion and its people, they will never understand and feel at ease with the religion or its people.

Yeah I think people are afraid. And they do treat us differently, especially if you make it noticable that you are a muslim. I think its because of this whole War or Terror thing, and US/ anti-muslim propaganda.

people who treat muslims differently are jerks!!! WE are all Gods children wheather we are black,white ,asian ,muslim or whatever .God dosen,t judge...why should we?
