Been there done that.The thing that I've found works for me.I make a decision before my conscious mind wakes up in the morning that I will be happy today.Try listening to inspirational music as well.This is what works for me.

You're asking the WRONG people. Get a mirror- & ask THAT person. You're missing SOMETHING (like- LITERALLY!). Check out the things that make you feel GOOD, and ask yourself WHY they do. THAT should give you a "clue" to where you need to direct your time & attention. Even if it's something like- you get a kick out of building birdhouses... -Great!- Go for it!!! Definitely try this;
Get to bed earlier,
take multivitamins,
get your blood checked by a GP for thyroid problems, and anaemia (low blood count),
laugh about silly things,
look to the future....plan something exciting!
OH, and stay away from depressing things and people.

if your not happy how can "everything" in your life be good and you have no complaints. I've been there... what i did was write down everything that is "good" "ok" and "shitty". (there has to be something) and be honest once you write it down you will probably find what is making you unhappy. good luck and best wishes...
