bad analogy - In the Christian mythology God did not crucify his Son, he sent Jesus here, and Jesus was crucified. An accurate analogy would be how does offering up your virgin daughter to be sacrificed in the volcano differ from crucifying your kid?

If you are attempting to use logic to debunk a belief that you do not agree with you should make sure that your logic is sound - otherwise you come off like a donkey that belongs to Gelding.

In the most basic sense, it doesn't. But if you're talking about Jesus, that's not the same, because neither He nor His Father were human, and Jesus was making the sacrifice willingly to actually accomplish something that was worth it.

If you're talking about Abraham, then remember that God did not let that go through -- vindicating Abraham's trust in Him.

If you're talking about something else, sorry to be so defensive, but there's a lot of loaded questions on here.
