This would make a kickass book title.
Anyway, The beehive is the world's most efficient factory, how can an unintelligent bug Do something which our amazing intellect and organization fail at? Can nature give an unintelligent creature superiority over us?
PS: I don't want to hear any horse raddish on how Nature had millions of years to perfect this, us humans had the same time, how come we fail?

Zach if human society "worked" like a beehive there would be rampant crime. The problem is humans aren't bees - drones are specialised creatures who drone, they are "happy" with their lot. The beehive model has been tried - things like slavery come to mind, the feudal system, hereditary monarchy - none of them especially successful at producing happy drones, or peace for that matter.
Again, what works for bees works because they are bees. The very fact that humans aren't bees means it wouldn't (and doesn't) work for us.

Well, I'm going out on a limb here but, bee's have this mindset from birth, that this is what they do, and this is how they do it. Every bee does his/her job, and does it well. No, they're not out exploring space, or anything along those lines because they lack the neccesary intelligance. We fail at doing something like this because we have too much freedom. (I know I'm going to get attacked because of that.) If we worked like the beehive, there would be no crime, perfect organization, etc. etc.

bee's are not superior to us just because they can make a hive. They still can't build a car or a skyscaper or put a bee on the moon. they have only been working on making one thing their whole lives, and damn straight they are going to get good at it. This does not prove anything, and I'm sorry you will see my answer as rubbish
sorry - meant to say horse raddish.

Do you want a mindless existence as a bee . Sounds like shades of Stalinism . Work for the state and forfeit your human secular rights as the govt. is supposed to grant us.
I'll keep my intellect as scientific method really far exceeds that of the bee whether you believe it or not . Just rid yourself of lying under the table rich politicians and the like and it will become clearly evident.

I think the Queen Bee is very smart. She has all these drones doing her bidding and the jacks fighting over her to the death.

I'm not really getting it. How do we fail at it? I think we could build beehives but why wouldn't we outsource that task to bees? Actually I think one of our best talents is our ability to copy nature.

Maybe bees are more efficient than us because they aren't busy squabbling over religion!
