Disable the firewall huh? :D
Nothing but top-shelf advice here, eh?
K heres the thing. If you have trouble downloading limewire, thats like giving a baby a hand grenade and waiting till he figures out how to make it go off. If the downloading part (by far the easiest aspect of it) is giving you trouble, then you DEFFINITELY shouldn't be using it. Limewire and any peer-2-peer program is how hackers get their trojans and worms out to the internet. I mean, what, do you think they put that stuff out there cause they feel badly for you cause you can't afford to buy it? Would you be naieve enough to think theres no alterior motive? That they're just all GREAT GUYS? :D
Wow.
If you can't figure out limewire, then the part of it that will screw up your computer will DEFFINITELY hurt you. I'd avoid it until you can say with relative confidence that you're well versed in the black arts of virus removal and disinfecting your system. And keeping it clean in the first place.
