I'm a dentist.

The donor site from the roof of your mouth will likely be the most sore area. But you should have pain medications.

As for the frenectomy, it's an absolute piece of cake. The area is poorly innervated to begin with and the procedure is a very simple one. Thus, soreness is little.

i didnt have that done but work with it, just like every surgery small or big that need incision- hurts a little after all, it will be little sore and yes it will hurt but its not for long, and not much , you will have pain killers that will help ok, i believe you went to dentist and have something done there with injection right? even needle stick is sore for few hours after all right?dont worry , you will be just fine , we are always scared of something that we have done first time ,wink

in case you want to boost up the therapeutic than i comprehend how gross it is yet you ought to rinse with salt water which will make it pass a lot swifter than in case you do not do some thing in any respect

YOU WILL BE GIVEN ANESTHETIC FOR ALL THE PROCEDURES, SO DON'T THINK YOU'LL FEEL ANY PAIN.
THE HEALING IS UNEVENTFUL SO YOU WILL BE JUST FINE.
