Boyfriend Help?

Me and my boyfriend have been together for 10 months now. It was love at first sight. But there are so many complications in my life that i told him about that wont let me be with him. And i've tried to break it off before but whenever i talk to him i get weak and just listen to him when he says we dont have to break it off and that everything will work out in the end. But i know they wont and that we can't ever be together and be happy at the same time. Please help me, hes gone for the weekend and were both going to different places in the summer (so now is a good oppurtunity cause well be apart for 3 months in the summer anyways). I Love him more than anything and he loves me just as much but i just know we cant ever be together.. please help with suggestions as to how to break it off

Its not that i dont want to be with him.. i do i really do. And i wish i could. Theres nothing wrong with our relationship it couldnt be more perfect. But my own family situation wont allow us to be together and i tried telling him but he wont listen he insists on us being together. I just want to let him down easy because i love him but i dont know how

It is a good time to reflect why didn't this relationship work and hopefully you will make a better choice next time as you certainly know the torment it inflicted on your bf and yourself to try to break it off. There is no easy way out but to make it very clear to your bf that you want a break up and honestly tell him the truth, only then will he have a final answer rather then wondering for the rest of his life why you want a breakup. Yes no matter how hard it is you got to put it across to him, gently but firmly, and don't be soft again. Writing is better as it conveys the message more clearly then in speech. Cheers.

well first off maybe you could take a more detailed approach too him, instead of saying you have family complications. Show him the meaning of what your saying.show him that how whats affecting you mentally and physically it will effect him just as equally and you don't want that. You can also request too stay intouch via phone or letters and be on a break.. Then you'd still love one another and maybe sooner or later things could get resolved.

I don't see why you can't be together, if he's willing to be there fro you throught eh complications. That's what good relationships are all about.

i have always tried to jion people not break.you seem to have a preconceived notion, that it can't work.but if you have decided just tell him during this vacation,so that he'll have time to recover.i don't like your decision.
