Since it is clearly written in the Bible that Mary gave her permission than it is safe to presume that she could have said no.

Can u imagine, God sending a lion out and killing Mary for denying him. It would look so bad on God. But God created her special, so she would say yes anyway.

Yes, she could have. However, God had always known that she would not refuse Him. Even though she didn't understand everything that was about to take place, she had faith in God. (Which is what Christians keep expounding to unbelievers.)

All Jewish women at the time knew that the Messiah was to come threw the tribe of David.
Mary was willing to be used in this way because she was convinced that Jehovah is real and that what he promised, will come true.
