Absolutely!
And I don't like what he has chosen but my love for him has not changed an ince.
I am in the background (or at the front of the war -- if you like) praying for him.

I will eventually let my kids choose their own religion if they want one at all. Im currently raising them atheist/pegan. I plan on teaching them philosophy, Buddhism and Taoism before I introduce them to figure head religions like Christianity and catholicism all except the religions that treat women like animals. Im sure she will make the right choice for her, but if for some reason she decides to become a super Christan, thats fine with me as long as I dont have to do it too.

I think I owe it to my children to allow them to think for themselves. How can I "choose" another person's belief system?? Imagine saying "This is what you will believe!! "
What a lot of nerve!!
I think it is interesting, if not fascinating, to learn about various philosophies and religions. They all seem to have something good to offer, but I certainly can't say that any one religion is right, or correct-- and I don't think that any of them have a handle on the "Truth"-- basically they want power and control over your minds and they want their hands in your pocket.

Yes, after telling them what I believe in and why I believe it. Ask them why they choose that particular religion. Compare the 2 religions. If they still want to choose a different religion then it is up to them.

I already have.
I explained several religions to her, including mine. I told my daughter from the beginning that she should find out the truth for herself.
She's almost 16 but if she's made an actual choice she hasn't told me officially yet. I won't care what she chooses, as long as it's something she truly believes.

Of course they will choose thier own religion. I brought them up to do just that. I am wiccan and as long as they don't judge mine I won't judge thiers. When everyone is an individual and does thier own thing, they are happy and that is what makes life interesting. We also get to celebrate twice as many holidays as everyone else.

My children will be free to choose whichever religion they want, no matter what I personally think. I think your faith needs to be from your own personal journey and as much as I love my kids, they are not me.

I will teach my children about my faith (Christianity), take them to church, give them a Bible... and then let them make their own decision. Like any parent does with any belief.
