What do you mean in “degrading” believing in or are a Christian. It’s totally personal what people believe in. If you’re an Atheists or a Christian doesn’t change the person you are inside. Some Science has backed up the belief in God and others Scientist have or believe they have absolute proof that man revolved from monkey’s, apes or whatever.
What has been proved is that there was once a more intelligent visitor that occupied part of this planet and in primitive times some of the technology was far more advanced for there not to be a more intelligent interference on this planet.
I’m a sceptic on how we revolved and I dislike Christian attempting to force their beliefs onto others and saying if you don’t repent now you are doomed. I live with people that pray before meals and before bedtime and we get along fine.
A fool is a person that has a closed mine, not open to new ideas or facts.

no I find it degrading that we evolved from apes, and that they crawled out of a muddy ooze, as a one cell and like everything else just decided to be what ever it wanted to be...that more degrading, except for you for throwing off on Christians, so if you don't believe in God, then you are for the devil (evil) whether you think you are or not, everyone will have to make a choice, and the time is getting closer everyday.....so who will you chose?

Not everyone evolved from Christians...that doesn't even make sense. Why would you find that degrading?? It doesn't mean you have to practice it.

Technically, we all evolved from ancient people that worshipped the sun, the moon, the earth, fire, water, and the wind, among other things. And not ALL of them and their decendants became or were converted to christianity. Therefore, your logic is flawed and you are hereby pronounced DEE DEE DEE

I dont even know how you came up with that idea, but considering that Christianity is one of the youngest religions out there that just makes this question all the more ridiculous... read a book. Science, religion, dont matter, just read something worthwhile and make an ever-so-slightly more intelligent query.

Humans did not evolve from a belief system any more than birds evolved from music, if you catch my drift, or elephants evolved from saxaphones.

Come on, that's not necessary. I'm an atheist and even though there are some things I may not agree with when it comes to Christianity, this isn't constructive and it doesn't make us look good.
