Just curious about Matthew 24. Jesus talks about the elite. Is he referring to a group after the rapture or of all born again Christians in the present time? (if the end would start now) Reading the verse if he is talking about all of us...the idea of pre trib rapture sounds kinda bogus. You're opinions please

We will endure part of the tribulation, but before it becomes unbearable, we will be raptured.

Believe it or not, "the Rapture" is not necessarily a Biblical idea. I suggest picking up a book called "The Rapture Exposed" by Barbara R. Rossing. I'm not saying the rapture won't happen. I'm just saying there is a lot of evidence that it's more of a man-made idea than a Biblical one.

I believe as fish does..it is known as mid-trib. We will be caught up after the first 3 1/2 years of the Tribulation period.

The 2nd 3 1/2 years is called the Time of Great Tribulation or Jacob's trouble(Israel's great persecution)

I agree that this passage makes it sound unlikely that Christians alive during the tribulation get a free pass to heaven before it starts. I think we had best make sure we are prepared for any situation. It would be nice though.

Jesus uses the word tribulation just as persecution. He didn't use that word to describe what will happen between the rapture and his second coming. We named it that as the time that God will pour out his wrath.

i think the rapture is inconclusive on the timing .. what i really think Jesus' message was .. was to be responsible in ur life and ur buisness and walk in the faith at all times ... then it just doesnt matter when it is or even if it is ..
