Why do I see so many of you on this board ignoring the very words of the bible that say "judge not lest ye be judged"? And before you go on a rant claiming I know nothing of the bible (it's happened before), I want to add that I grew up in a Catholic family that made the children go to Sunday School and Vacation Bible school when it was time.
Anyway, who are you to sit there on your behind and judge people in need? I just read a question for a prayer request for a highly respected and well known member of this board who is a good person to everyone and replies with kindness when given evil. The christians on this question were damning her to hell for her beliefs, saying they wouldn't pray for her, and all around giving a bad example of how a true christian should act. How do the TRUE christians feel about how these members of your community acted?

Ummmm, I'm not Catholic. If I was, my nickname would have something to do with christianity, and not Islam. I left christianity because for ME, it did not make any sense.

As a true Christian, I do not judge other people. They (fake ones) make their own bed, so to speak, and then gripe because their bed is lumpy...
I pray for people, each and every person that posts on this board.. It has become part of my daily prayer list..
In reference to the known member, I did read some replies where they said they would wish her well, without saying they would pray. why dog them for that? If they dont believe in prayer, its their choice.. They at least said they would keep her in their thoughts.. Some are Christians, some are not, on this Yahoo board..
If you look closely and follow a person who says they are Christian, you will tell by their actions.
I don't judge anyone on here, they have their views and I have mine and I never go on a rant if someone disagrees with my choice of being a Christian and nothing they can EVER say that will change my mind. Sometimes we just have to agree to disagree...

As a Christian, I can accept the fact that everyone is not a believer. The worst part of being a Christian is watching other so called Christians. I know exactly what you mean and I am deeply sorry. I wish these folks would call themselves something other than Christian because they don't act very Christlike at all! People see these want-to-be Christians judging and damning other people and that's why Christians are hated by so many people today. I hope these folks read the part of the Bible that says: "By the same measure that they judge someone, God is going to judge them." Jesus never judged anyone while he was on this earth. As his followers I don't understand how they feel they have the right to judge.

I am a true Christian and I have had the same problem how people would not even pray for me cause maybe I am not as strong as a Christian as they are. Because I asked this question they said this I not a true Christian and that they would not pray for me. I thought we were not suppose to judge people and I as a Christian but they told me that I was not a Christian cause I did not live as they thought I should, why I believe in God and they would not pray for me. not only that I had people even make up stuff but tell her not to worry about she being attack by satan cause she close to God. She doing something right or else satan would not brother her. tell her not to let the internet brother her. also tell her not to worry about what the people on the internet will say they can be nasty and I will be praying for her. Also tell her to get into the bible and pray more. God bless you

People of ALL religions (and none) have been known to condemn those who believe differently because it gives them a feeling of satisfaction and superiority. This happens every day, and not just on the Internet... Christians, Muslims, Jews, Atheists, etc. will put one another down out of the belief that only they -- and they alone -- know the truth. Of course that's wrong. And each group has to live down the lunatic fringe that claims the same religion, but behaves as if they have no concept of love, mercy, kindness, or forgiveness. Frankly, I think this says more about human beings than it does any one religious group.

I am a real Christian in that I try to be like Christ. And I am truly sorry for your experiences with others who call themselves Christians. We should reach out in love and pray for everyone, even those who are not Christians. We should not judge others, but it can be so easy on a Yahoo message board. Again, I am sorry. They will get thier due on judgement day, as we all will. I hope that the actions of a few (okay, let's be honest, it's probably more than a few) does not influence your view of the Christian Church and Christ as a whole.

That's a totally unfair generalization. I went back and read the responses to that post and most were very willing to pray for her. To say that "the christians on this question were damning her to hell for her beliefs, saying they wouldn't pray for her" is a blatant lie and that's not fair. I responded to that post. I'm a christian and I prayed for her as many others did. Don't pick out what you like to use, that you believe makes christians look bad, and then use it to lump us all together. It's pathetic and unfair.

There's good and bad in every walk of life, baby, and not everything is as it appears to be. Some people claim to be Christian who are not, some people say nice things to your face while they stab you in the back. The world is a mixture of good and evil so you cling to the good and ignore the bad. It ain't nothing but a thing anyway, and certainly nothing to lose sleep over. Why can't anyone figure this out?

So you're Catholic...big deal. Doesn't mean you're a Bible scholar or maybe you would have realized that Bible is always capitalized. The world isn't perfect, never will be so don't get your panties in a wad trying to make it perfect. If someone was bashing the lady for her prayer request, it makes the bashers the complete morons.

Sorry, but it sounds as if you're making this up, or at least not telling the whole truth. I'd need to actually see the Christians doing that. You muslims are freely permitted to lie by your koran, and in my experience, you do a LOT of lying.
P.S. I'm not judging you, by the way. It's not judgmental to call a stone a stone, or a liar a liar.

I definitely believe in the "don't just lest you be judged." I think no matter what you do you still deserve God's love. There is no one person on this entire site that could say that their actions have always been pure in intentions.
No matter what they do no one should be denied prayers. That is how conversion and miracles happen, through the power of prayer.
