Radical Shi'ite Iraqi cleric Moqtada al-Sadr launched one of his strongest broadsides against the United States on Friday, saying the invasion of Iraq had burdened the country with violence and poverty.

Sadr, whom the U.S. military says is believed to be in Iran, urged Iraqis to protest in the holy Shi'ite city of Najaf on April 9, the fourth anniversary of when American troops swept into central Baghdad in 2003.

"Iraq has endured difficult years because of this oppressive occupation that claims it removed the destroyer (Saddam Hussein) to bring the ghost of a fake democracy," Sadr said in a statement. Sadr stated he does not fear the Marines due to them not having their heart into the fight.

KUFA, Iraq (AFP) - A representative speaking on behalf of radical Shiite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr on Friday urged Iraqis to hold protests next month on the fourth anniversary of the fall of Baghdad.

"I call on everyone to demonstrate on April 9 in Najaf on the anniversary of the US occupation," Sheikh Abdul Hadi al-Muhamadawi told worshippers during a Friday sermon in Kufa, the twin holy shrine city of Najaf.

On April 9, 2003 American troops pushed into Baghdad 20 days after invading Iraq and marked the overthrow of former president Saddam Hussein by pulling down a symbolic statue of him in the capital.

Quoting Sadr, who the Americans say has fled Iraq since January before the launch of a new security crackdown in and around Baghdad, Muhamadawi again reiterated the cleric's call for US troops to leave the country.

"It is only the Iraqi people who have the right to decide how long the occupation forces stay in Iraq," he said in allusion to the US Congress which has approved a provisional timetable for bringing most troops home by end-March 2008.

"It is the right of the Iraqi people alone and they already rejected their (the foreign troops) presence on their land," Muhamadawi added.

Sadr, whose Mahdi Army militia has been branded the most dangerous element in the country's sectarian violence by the US military, has always demanded that US troops leave the country.

The CIA has removed over 15 high officials in Iran this past month from the inside.
The Army everyone sees on TV is just a smokescreen. The real army of America is invisible and cannot be stopped.
Do your homework and see who these Iranian officials are that have disappeared.
