The best way to get permanent waves is to brush a lot. You should always keep your brush on you. It is also important how you brush. Start from the center of your scalp and brush outwards towards the hairline. On the sides be sure to brush in a slant. The best wave pomade is dax. It is super thick and it makes your hair shine. It is also best to wear a durag at night. Brushing is what develops your waves. The only thing that a durag and hair pomade does is enhance the look of your waves by weighing your hair down. If you want fresh permanent waves it will take a few weeks. The s-curl kit will give you some waves instantly but it is not permanent.

Du-rag and grease sometimes they sell the grease that helps give you waves. However if that doesnt work if your hair isnt too long you can use the s-curl treatment and instead of curls you will end up with waves.
