I have cat 5 wiring in my house. out of three tv's, only one tv has 70% reception. on the others, the reception is not good at all. Can anyone tell me how to fix this? By the way, this does not involve a satellite.

Cat 5 cabling is for computer networks and telephone......

RG6 coaxial cabling is for TV channels.....

You're losing a LOT of signal from the Main input to the 70% TV....the other TVs are even more loss.

I think you might want to switch those signals over to the
RG-6 cables that I hope the house is wired with.......

If not, then it's time for the CABLE company to come out and wire along the outside of your home with RG-6.....believe me they are the most economical source for RF wiring.....pay them to do the job.
Or hire an electrician........

I don't know how you run tv reception over a cat 5 cable. It wasn't designed for that and is not the proper impedance for tv signals. The input impedance for tv signals is 75 ohms and requires shielded coax cable which is an unbalanced system. Cat 5 cable is about 500 ohms impedance and is an unshielded, balanced system. This would be why you can't get decent reception over the cat 5.

Are you using splitters?
Make sure the splitters are of good quality and support the full bandwidth of TV transmission.

Make sure all cables are properly grounded.

If your wire is long, you may need a splitter with gain amplifier
