We all have the potential to be, for want of a better word, God conscious, but unfortunately most people do not develop their consciousness to its fullest potential.
These days people are more distracted by the different diversions that have come with material development and are more conscious of them than they are of spiritual development.
If people spent as much time grooming their consciousness, or their intellect, as they do on grooming thier body, or responding to their physical needs/desires then more people would be "God conscious". And, what a better world it would be.

Nope.
Firstly, the Bible is not fact and it can't prove God anymore than Lord of the Rings can prove there are Hobbits. Sorry. I'm not saying you can't have God, I'm just saying that we need to get over this strange delusion where if it's published in a book - it must be true.
I disagree. People don't "seek to worship" anything. They either do or they don't. Most tribal cultures do worship a force larger than themselves, true. But they don't "seek" to worship.
People in Danger pray to whomever they've been trained to pray. When I'm in danger I've been known to pray to Daemons including Lucifer, Dagon, and Baal. Where is the scientific paper or statistical study showing that Atheists are blaming God for stuff? I've never heard an Atheist blame God for stuff unless they're trying to prove a point to a Christian that their God may not be as merciful as they try to make him out to be.
I believe there is a highest God. But my God is a lot different than the Christian anthropomorphization (that means 'giving human qualities to' for those who don't know) of God. I'd prefer to answer to mine. But I also respect the right of non-believers to not believe. I really think God is an individual thing and who are we to try to say our individual and personal beliefs are right for everyone? I think that's arrogant.

Yes, When God created man he imprinted in our hearts a hunger to seek him. St. Augustine said, "Our hearts are restless until they rest in thee."
Creation has its own goodness and proper perfection, but it did not spring forth complete from the hands of the Creator. The universe was created "in a state of journeying" (in statu viae) toward an ultimate perfection yet to be attained, to which God has destined it. We call "divine providence" the dispositions by which God guides his creation toward this perfection:
By his providence God protects and governs all things which he has made, "reaching mightily from one end of the earth to the other, and ordering all things well." For "all are open and laid bare to his eyes," even those things which are yet to come into existence through the free action of creatures.161
Peace and every blessing!

particular, God is wakeful. he's no longer a application shelling out favors or firing those of religion. the final thank you to think of God is to comprehend there is not any evil there is largely lack of know-how--Socrates. God's mind being countless is all loving. he's our comparable top, perhaps taller than me. He teaches bearing directly to the universe. He would not create or wreck. as quickly as we meet him, he has a clean buddy.

You are assuming that the Bible is true and that the Christian God is the one true god. People pray to God in times of danger because there is nothing else they can do. It comes from wishing that there is someone else to take care of us.

Not so. If you have participated on Yahoo Answers for awhile, you will see a lot of people asking a bunch of stupid questions that are insulting or disrespectful of God, his Son or the Bible. Would you say those people are "God conscious"? I don't think so.

"Often those asserting that there is no God blame Him for catastrophies or tragedies."
Nonsense. You just made that up.
Doesn't the fact that you have to lie to support your beliefs tell you something about the quality of those beliefs? It should.

A all powerful God would be everything. Every action every person every and second of time. That's why his existence is not possible.

No, people aren't born believing in god. After being exposed to the idea, we choose to accept it or reject it.
