Depends on the human. If you only believe what your book orders you to believe you won't see Jinns.

Umm...here's what I know.
Jinns are beings which cannot be seen by human eye but they can see us. Just like man, jinns have the power to chose good or evil. Bad jinns harm us, either by black magic (when someone does it) or just attacking. There are texts about jinns 'possessing' people, but I'm not sure. Now, we don't know their form, shape, size or constistency, so the thing about ghosts is not relevant. However, no human spirits wander on Earth, they return to God.

No that is not true. Jinns can take the form of humans. I remember reading that but I can't remember where. You can even be in a relationship with a jinn but you can't get impregnated by a jinn.

Yes, Jinn is unseen in their true form. but they can change their shape into others, for example is transform into dog or a snake, like Rasulullah ever said that we may let a snake lives in our house for three days, and kill it if it's more than three days, cause it's satan.

Imam Syafi'ie said that if any moslem claimed that they've seen jinn in their true form, their just lying. Maybe you can search the best answer in Syaikh Abdullah bin Baz books, or their comments of that.

Remember, the best answer is if it came from Qur'an and Sunnah (what Rasulullah said).

Allah created human from soil, so we are composed of matter (atoms, molecules and ions). He created jinn from fire, thus they are composed of energy, and are invisible to human eyes.
They can materialize, often as snakes or black dogs. They can appear in human forms, or posses human bodies.
There are good jinns, and there are bad jinns. Some of them do have fun by scaring human beings.
Some humans are gifted with the ability to see and/or communicate with jinns.

Right... We believe that you cannot see a Jinn. Well...Many of us do. Though many will disagree with me.Some people believe (becuase they have heard or seen it on TV) that you can see Jinns. So just believe what you think is right. (Wait I didn't really help or did I?)

All we know is that Jinns are creatures that are not humans that have free will. All that invisible stuff, and form changing, is in Hadith and not in The Quran. I agree.

I understand that somewhere it is said that a djinn was Adam's first wife, before Eve. And that a whole race is descended from that union.

Can't remember where I read that, though. Maybe on one of those UFO websites?
