You are never too old; I waited over 30 years until I met my wife.

I don't see anything wrong with that. It is best to wait for the right person to make the first time special. You only get to lose your virginity once and its all the more special when it is someone you love or at least know something about. If nothing more, waiting for the right person is a source of personal protection. If it makes you feel any better, I'm 20 and I'll probably still be a virgin at your age. If it is bothering you, start looking for an ideal person. Go on dates and try to meet people and don't settle for anything less than the right person. But, personally I wouldn't let it bother me.

First, I think it's great you're still a virgin, especially since you don't want to give it anyway to just anyone (as you said). I think it's a shame when people think there is a certain time by which they and others should no longer be a virgin. In other words, I think it's a shame that we live in a context which would prompt your question. However, I applaud you for not letting that context determine your actions. Keep waiting for the right guy. Both of you will be happy you did because it will be part of a truly meaningful relationship.

No you're not too old to be a virgin. There are some people that save their virginity for their marriage. I am planning to save sex for marraige too. Its good that you want to save it for that right guy. The guy who you marry will feel proud to be with a virgin and give you a lot of respect. Not many people do that nowadays. People just do it with anyone to satisfy their sexual desires and dont even have dignity. That is the reason why aids is a big problem today.

It is neither sad or funny. It is very easy to give in to peer pressure from your friends and sleep with someone because you are made to feel different or strange or somehow 'not normal'. You should do it when you feel it is right for you. I myself did not lose my virginity until i was 39 and have no regrets whatsoever that i waited that long until i was with a person i wanted to share that part of my life with.

I know it will sound cynical to say otherwise, but what planet are you from?
What do you mean by giving it away?
Why are you so special?
Believe me, there is nothing wrong in being a 25 or 35 years old virgin.
The problem lies in the longer you wait, the more absurd your reasons for remaining a virgin becomes, and then the only place of solace left to you, will be the convent.
And I think there are only a few left there now, as all the priests who are not into little boys have had thier way.
OOps, and by the way, when your Prince do arrive, I hope that when you kiss him he wont turn into a toad.

I think that it shows that you have morals, values, and respect yourself by waiting for the right person. Their is no set age to loose your virginity. Just wait till you find someone special, so it can be even better. I think you are rare, are worth more, and special because you are in your 20s and a virgin, while most people your age have STD's or pregnant. Be strong and patient. You can be sexy without having sex. Look at Adriana Lima(the Victoria's Secret model) she is sexy, confident, and in her mid 20s and a virgin.

Don't be silly, there's no such thing as too old. Me however, I lost my virginity at 16 and I don't regret it at all. I've had a very successful and happy sex life (just about the only thing I'm good at!) but I did it because I wanted to and felt comfortable with it. Don't do it unless you feel the same way.....
