The same thing happens to my brother. Could it be an allergy to an ingredient in the soup, or is this normal?

I don't have any reaction when I eat tomatoes. In fact I eat them most days.

More than likely it is due to the acid in the soup. If you have this problem when you eat tomatoes constantly then you may have acid reflux. If you experience burning when eating tomato products, then you need to go to the doctor. He/she can prescribe you medication so you don't have the burning so often. I have acid reflux and can only eat tomatoes early in the day. If I eat pizza late at night then I often have to drink milk(it seems to neutralize the acid-but not always).Good luck.

Your probably allergic to tomato's! Does this happen with other foods that have acid ,if so then you should lay off of them.
