I like lots of birds, but the one that I think is really neat is the owl. I know, just a plain ole barn pest controller, but they are so kewl to see at night. I've lived on farms and it is so amazing to walk into the barn and flash your light and see them turn their heads all the way around to the back to look at you ... it's amazing!

I guess you're in the wrong section for that. I've seen a beautiful one here (I'm in S FL) which is a yellow/orange color with black on it's wings. It's kind of like a Baltimore Oriole, but different.

I am a birder! I get asked all the time what my favorite bird is. I always answer its the bird I am looking at. Here is one that I really liked that we saw in Ecuador last year:

Ospreys....Since they're making a comeback, I've actually seen one on the Gulf Coast. Magnificent birds.
