I was in the auditorium because there was a play there. A 6th grader that my mom knew well (He's one of the cool kids in his school) was sitting 4 rows in front of me. I was with my friend too. He was talking to his friends and this girl that I think is hot. He was talking to the cool 6th grade kids too. My mom yelled out, "ALEX!!" and waved to get his attention. All the cool kids and the girl looked behind her and eventually saw me, my friend, and my mom waving. I felt like an idiot!
Does anyone know if I looked like an idiot? How long will this take effect? Because I am very cautious about embarrassing myself in school. Am I scarred for life for this?

Most of us have parents and we all know how embarrasing they can be at times. Those cool kids have parents to and no matter how cool their parents might be, they can be just as embarrassing as yours. It may have been funny at the time but by now something funnier or more dramatic has already replaced your goofy mom moment.
I think your mom was the one that looked well like a mom and the other kid may have been a little embarrased too.
If anyone says anything just say, " you know how moms are, they forget that we are grown and still act goofy sometimes. She meant no harm."

You didn't look like an idiot. everyones parents do embarrassing things unless u are one of the lucky ones who gets a cool parent.you may always be afraid of embarassin urself. unless u get over what ppl think about u. in elementry school the cool. kids don't even matter. just wait till u get to highschool. it's not that embarrassin anyway.

This happens to everyone...your mom loves you and one day you will grow up and have kids of your own and do the same thing to them. Sounds to me like you are embarrassed of your mom...she would never intentionally do anything to hurt/embarrass you...she loves you
and BTW, NO you are not scarred for the rest of your life. When you grow up and graduate you will not be around 99% of these people and it won't matter.
Look at it this way...my mom died 24 years ago and I would give anything or do anything for her to be here and embarrass me right now.
be cool...

you should be fine everyone your age is embarassed by their parents; chances are everyone else is worried about what embarassing thing their parent did. Embarassing stuff happens to everyone as long as you don't act to bothered by it the teasing should wear off pretty quickly. It will be old news before you know it, if it is news at all.Don't sweat it either way.

My mom was always pretty embarassing as well lol.
But mom's often do that to many people.
Watch before you know it no one will even remember.
Trust me,I know it doesn't seem possible but people will forget by next week!
