i know this sounds weird but i have not had the privalege to be taught how to wear your rings correctly.. which do you put on first to wear as a set?,, the engagement ring or the wedding ring?

Wedding ring goes on first, it is the closest to the heart. Engagement ring on second to protect the wedding ring from falling off. Even though it will not fall off, that is the mythical explanation.

It's totally your choice, but most women wear the wedding band first, then put the engagement ring on. It's also acceptable to move your engagement ring to your right hand when you get married. If you decide to wear them as a set all the time, you can have the set soldered together to prevent damage from the rings rubbing together. Congratulations.

Wedding ring first, engagement ring second. Wedding band first, because it's "closest to your heart." During the wedding, you shouldn't have a ring on that finger until he wedding band is put on. Also, people don't always wear the engagement ring, and you don't want to have to be taking your wedding ring on and off all the time.

I have an engagement ring that was set into the wedding band *which is a wrap* The jeweler told me to wear the wedding band closest to my body, the engagement ring side farthest away from my body

The wedding rind goes on first and then the engagement ring. So, during the ceremony, you take the engagement ring off and either keep it somewhere else, or wear it on another finger until you put the wedding ring on.

That is perfectly fine. Its actually a bit controversial. Kind of like the tomato tamato thing :). I wear mine as the wedding ring first then the engagment ring becuase the day I got married I want that ring the closest to my heart :)
