It only seems that way. It depends on the time and day.

I've often felt that atheists outnumber the religious people in this section. I'm not so sure that it's a bad thing; it makes for some entertaining reading.

Just remember though, might does not make right!

Think about the place where people are seeking answers, and the group... haha come one dude, religious people seek for answers in other places than online question sites. The religious people that actually go on here are the one's that want to help the lost and broken find the way :) And we are all lost and broken :)

There's probably about 30 of us that are regulars here. I expect one thing we have in common is that we're sick of what's happened in the U.S. the last 10 years as the coalition between conservative Christians and conservative Republicans gained control of all three branches of government. It's become especially bad when Christians tried to change the teaching of science in public schools, and some Christians started trying to rewrite history to claim that the U.S. was founded as a Christian nation.

The trend might have been reversed with the elections last November, but I'm not going to reduce my activism until its clear that the pendulum as swung back to where there is a healthy respect for the wisdom of the 1st Amendment's guarantee of the separation of church & state, and Christians stop trying to discredit legitimate science just because it conflicts with a literal interpretation of the Bible.

I don't think they outnumber the religious people. People just take more notice of them.

Not so much atheists, but those who are atheists, pagans, and others who do not believe in God. Other than that, I think you are right. I have noticed the same thing.

Someone has answered, "Religious people have dates." Sad but true, "religious" people tend to be social people. Churches are not only places to worship GOD, they are also communities or spiritual families. Christianity is not merely a philosophy, but a way of life. When we come into fellowship with GOD we find ourselves surrounded by hundreds of brothers and sisters.

To reject a nation's GOD is pretty antisocial if you think about it. The atheists on here seem to have not only a problem with GOD, but also with society in general.

They argue and pose and pretend to be oh so smart. Any time you want to drop your attitude, you can walk into pretty much any Christian church and we welcomed as a brother or sister. But that's up to you. No one is forcing you. You can be angry as long as you want. But you are causing your own suffering.

In case you haven't figured it out, a lot of us Christians are on here trying to reach lost souls. We try to offer help and get insulted and persecuted. But that's fine. I have blood brothers to hang out with who love and respect me. The web link is below. You are welcome to come visit us any time.
Love.

Non-believers certainly have us outnumbered, included in the tally would be staunch Atheists. However....

Deuteronomy 32:30 says that one can put 1,000 to flight, but two can put 10,000 to flight.

..not bad odds.

it could be, but it probably has something to do with the fact there isnt a aethist/nonreligious section posted to for them to ask questions in to others like them, that and many just like to see the extreme christians here go whacko and get all judgemental...it happens alot too
