Easter is coming up and my children love to hunt for Easter Eggs on easter morning, generally the eggs are hid the night before and they aren't hunted for till morning. In the past I have always done this and then later that day we make devilled eggs for Easter Dinner and they've never hurt me or my family...but several people I work with think it is unsafe....Do you have knowledge on this? Thanks for any input!

foodborne microorganisms grow well between the temperatures of 41'f and 135'f (5'C and 57'C) this range is known as the temperature danger zone.
Exposing microorganisms to temperatures outside the temperature danger zone does not necessarily kill them.

I've kept hard boiled eggs at room temperature for several days. 3 days maximum. just make sure the shell is not compromised. About the deviled eggs, I wouldn't leave those out for very long...a few hours at room temp maximum.
