"Everything is permissable" - but not everything is beneficial. "Everything is permissable" - but not everything is constructive. Nobody should seek his own good, but the good of others" 1 Corinthians 10:23-24. Basically, will what you do be a help or a hindrance to another Christian who may be in a place where you could cause them to stumble.
What I do when I'm asking myself the same questions is look at whatever it is and say "Would I feel comfortable doing this in front of God?" I think God wants us to have fun but not be an idiot about it at the same time. I don't think he is as stuffy as some people try to make him out to be. Be respectful of others but keep in mind that God's opinion is the one that counts.
With that being said, have fun, live your life and try to be a good person in all that you do.

Any music that does not have sinful lyrics or encourages sin in others is okay in my book, and I think in God's book as well. Just because loud rock music is loub and obnoxious to some, others might find the easy twang of country music that I myself enjoy to be equally obnoxious and sinful. It's all a matter of taste. As long as the lyrics don't promote sin and the person listening to the music is simply enjoying the music, I see no harm in it. As for the clothes we wear, same thing. If it is a distraction to the point of preventing modesty or promoting hate or sinful ideas, then I would think that God would not approve. Still, clothing is a matter of personal taste and style. I think the key is if the clothing is too immodest or if it promotes sinful ideas. As for driving faster than the speed limit, that's a tough one. Here in Southern California, you can get a traffic ticket for driving the speed limit because it would be below the flow of traffic and you could actually cause an accident in some areas. I guess you would have to know the area you are driving in and gauge your speed by the speed limit, combined with the flow of traffic and the likelihood that you could cause or not cause an accident, and also gauge it by the weather. If you are blatantly speeding, like say more than 5 or 10 miles over the speed limit (on on California freeways, more than 15 miles over the speed limit), then I would say you are sinning because you are breaking the law and God tells us to obey the laws of the land. Whether you are breaking the law or not, either way, in some areas, you can still get a ticket for driving 5 miles over the speed limit. Just use common sense on that one, I guess.

If you're so super strict that anything and everything that anyone would ever think was a sin IS infact a sin, then yes, all those things except for the weird clothes thing is sin.
Driving about 2 miles pver the speed limit (okay, about 1-15 miles over) would be ridiculous to consider a sin.
Listening to loud rock music, if the words are moderately clean, is also not a sin.
Wearing weird clothes (unless they are super revealing or are crude in any other way, like what they say or show) is just a form of expression, and not a sin.

No.
Who told you that?
I am a Christian. I listen to all kinds of music, very LOUD! I do not wear the clothes people think I should for my age and/or position in Life (who cares). I do not drive over the speed limit but that is a choice, not a Sin.

I'm a Christian. I listen to loud rock music and wear weird clothes and if I had a car I would probably drive over the speed limit and that last one IS probably "a sin" b/c it is going against the law and endangering others and yourself. But other than that, no those things aren't sin... I do them, and "I've got Jesus", so to speak. That's just my own 2 cents worth, though... You've got these crazy wild-haired Bible-waving preachers screaming doom all over the place, but that's another story...

In the words of one of the first Christian Rock musicians, Why should the devil have all the good music
I don't think my clothes are weird....my sister acts as fashion police and makes sure I don't wear things that don't match or look good.
Faster than the speed limit....well it's not a sin but I've gotten too many tickets to do it...I try and watch my speed so I don't get another one.

Whether or not something is sinful depends on how you use it, and what your intentions are.
If the loud rock music is full of positive messages that uplift you (and it isn't bothering anyone else) then it is not sinful. If the music is so loud it is damaging your hearing, then you are not taking good care of the body God gave you. If you are feeding your head/soul with music that has dark, foul, violent lyrics, then you are playing right into Satan's hands.
If you are speeding because you are taking a hurt friend to the hospital, is that sinful? If you are speeding because you are just too impatient to be lawful, then you may be suffering the sin of pride.
Your appearance sends a message to everyone who sees you. What message are you sending? Is it an uplifting, trustworthy appearance, or is it an "I don't care what anyone else thinks" message?

Well I don't know about that. There have been debates about that. I do love rock so I hope it isn't a sin. About the wierd clothes. Don't wear super loose clothing and don't drive faster that the speed limit because God put the laws that he wants saids the Bible.

While going faster than the speed limit could endanger someones life, wearing clothes that are weird and listening to loud rock music is your choice.

Maybe it is not a sin to listen to Rock
No it is not a sin to wear weird clothes.
Yes it is a sin to drive over the speed limit
Is the rock within a respectable sound level for those around you?
To him that knows to do good and does it not to him it is sin.
Jesus also says to submit ourselves to the ruling authority.
God's rules first of course than follow the laws.
As for the clothes. It might affect your testimony and not necessarily in a bad way. just think about it.
