Well, this depend. You just hold your breath and dive, I say no, as I never see it happen.
If, you using SCUBA gear you can do anything. I have drank Beer underwater, though I usually just take water as the Dry Air from the Tank will dry your mouth. Once I set up a table & Chairs with Flowers and a Bottle of Wine and my woman and me had a nice Moonlight Drink at the table.
Seen a friend Puke once, man that was gross, but, it just go out the Regulator as they designed for this.

You need to inhale before you sneeze. If the sneezing was absolutely uncontrollable, they'd probably drown. If they had a scuba regulator or something, I see no reason they couldn't inhale from that and sneeze. It would come out as bubbles, and would probably hurt. Sneezing against the water pressure would feel like pinching your nose while you sneeze, I would imagine.

I was scuba diving with a guy who used to throw up under water....very odd
Sneezing is preceded by an inhalation ...so sneezing underwater without scuba gear would not be a good idea
You would still sneeze...once you stopped choking

Wow, what a question. Think about it. Say you go under water. If you start to sneeze you are going to breath in water. So I would imagine no they wouldn't sneeze in fear of drowning. I don't know though.

Yes you can sneeze underwater but it is not healthy. You breath in water through you mouth and you nose (which is very painful).

It's true that you inhale first, so going underwater wouldn't solve it. You CAN sneeze underwater, though, and painlessly -- you just inhale above water and then dive under.

via fact that he has air coming in he can sneeze into his masks. in case you probably did no longer have scuba equipment you need to sneeze in case you drew interior the air first and then positioned your face below yet you won't be in a position to sneeze keeping your breath so in case you have been already below you need to no longer.
