Vaguely defined religious beliefs.

Actually, a religion is beliefs about the existence of one or more gods. Therefore, even if you don't believe in "religion", you still have one. You just don't go for some of the rites and rituals of other religions, but it is still a religion.

You make a fine distinction!

Faith in God, Mark 1:15
and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel."

Religion? By "religion" do you mean "church," or organized worship?

Matthew 16:18
"I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it."

1 Corinthians 14:40
But all things must be done properly and in an orderly manner.

Sadly, "religion" is human; what God is offering is a relationship.

Matthew 11:28
"Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest."

God is a personal God:
John 3:16
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life."

God loves you.

I believe the answer is:"One who is afraid of a label"

It's true, for the longest time I feared being lumped into the same category as Christians who killed the masses for what they thought their God wanted. If you truly seek God and you can look past religion you are spiritual, and looking for a personal relationship with God. But I've come to realize that religion is a good guide. What if we had to start from a clean slate without the wisdom and divine inspiration of those God had a relationship with before us? We would be totally confused. We need the wisdom of times before us and to see how God used them. Religion isn't all bad, but those that have all religion and no heart or relationship to God are just as lost as those who haven't found the true way to God.

You want to know what true religion is, in God's eyes? read this:

James 1:27
Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.

Well religion does not mean "belief in deities" because many of the Asian religions have no gods in the first place. But as far as rejecting organized religion, that is, scriptural books, etc, the answer is probably Deism.
