True. The reason is because anyone can climb a mountain if they have the determination, yet many will make a mountain where none exists simply because they fail to put forth the effort to succeed, and to them, the obstacle is as high as a mountain. If they just decided they could do something, and then set out to do it, they would be surprised at what they could do. We limit ourselves by narrow thinking. We never know if we can conquer the mountain if we don't try, and the mountain that is the hardest to conquer is the one in our own mind.

In a sense this is true. The "mountains" are often the limits we set for ourselves. We "overcome" ourselves by facing those fears we have and by getting past those "comfort zones" and limits no matter how psychologically painful they may seem to be....

True. we would have no problem climbing the mountain...if nothign was wrong with us...if we were perfect. like lack of self esteem....can stop u from doing things that keep us happy in life...u must conquer urself. lack of motivation...courage...depression....sadness....solitude. we must conquer ourselves and climb the mountain with a tight rope so we wont fall. but many start to climb with a frayed one...and slip. and then they refuse to get up....afraid that they will fall again.

False. It's not about conquering, it's about synergy. Become a partner with the mountain, become an integrated whole with that self you would conquer. You are not your own worst enemy.

Depends.
If the mountain is coming down on you, you'll have to conquer it somehow or die. If it is just you're inability that's causing the trouble, then you'll have to overcome that inability. Usually, it's a combination of both.

It is not a true or false question.
In Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, the major hurdle we have is ourselves, but each believes there are external impediments as well.
