I certainly would not call you retarded. Why would you call others retarded. Evidentally you justr don't understand the message. GOD does not want us to sin. Homosexuality is a sin. HE does not tell Christians to judge others or to HATE anyone. HE does tell us that homosexuality is a sin and we are to refrain from sinning. I hope that this makes sense. Have a great weekend.
Thanks,
Eds, Christian

The Bible doesn't teach Christians to hate anyone. Jesus told us that we are even supposed to love our enemies. Just because some people who profess the name of Christ are hateful doesn't mean that this is what the Bible teaches. My Pastor taught a series called Grace & Truth about Homosexuality where He told us that every one of us needs God's help and that God loves us all just the way we are but that He loves us too much to leave us the way that we are.

If you turned to Jesus and received the Holy Spirit you too could live a changed life in Christ. I used to be a sexually immoral alcoholic before I became a Christian who got drunk every day but now I don't drink and since I'm not married I don't engage in fornication either.

1 Corinthians 6:9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, 10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

11 And such WERE some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

It's not like I'm never tempted to drink or to have sex with a woman to whom I'm not married. It's just that now God has freed me from the power of sin and I choose to resist those temptations in Jesus' name.

Matthew 1:21 She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins."

How so? If someone you loved committed a sin, would you stop loving them?

The book doesn't force people to hate...people choose to hate based on their misguided attempts at interpreting the book

Must be a powerful book to force people to do anything. I know of no such book.

I'm confused. Are you asking me if you are gay? Because if you are I would have to say no! God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.
