The best thing to do would be to contact your family doctor and request a referral with a nutritionist. A nutritionist will work out a specific schedule of foods for you based on your likes and dislikes. This will make it easy for you to manage your calories.

Also, set yourself up with a personal trainer (if you can afford it...some charge as little as $25 per hour) or arrange with a friend to work out together for an hour three times a week. When you are spending the money or a friend is depending on you, it makes you stick with it. The exercising can be as non-strenous as brisk walking. The important thing is to be burning calories, increasing your heart rate and using those muscles. Good luck!
