Hostages of Iran

Irvine, CA--"There is a profound, but unrecognized, lesson in the West's weak response to Iran's hostage-taking of British naval personnel," said Elan Journo, junior fellow at the Ayn Rand Institute.

"The U.K. government and Washington are widely regarded as aggressive defenders of their interests in the face of Islamist aggression. But the present Iranian hostage crisis shows, again, how these would-be defenders of our life and freedom are pathetically timid--while our enemy is shameless and ever more confident.

"Iran is a leading world sponsor of Islamic totalitarianism and has long been waging a terrorist proxy war against the West, through groups such as Hezbollah. In Iraq, Iran's proxies have been slaughtering U.S. and British troops. Iran initiates all of this aggression--to say nothing of its nuclear weapons program--with the confidence that it has an Allah-given...

Why do Marxists try to make themselves sound more intellectual by throwing out words like "jingoistic", yet somehow always avoid attacking points made with sound arguments like a true intellect would?

Marxists cannot use reason in their arguments because Marxism has nothing to do with reason. Marxism has been a total failure every time it has been attempted. Marxism doesn't work. This has been proved beyond any doubt by the Marxists themselves. The attempts would be more amusing to watch if so many innocent people weren't always murdered in the process. To make a long story short, the Marxists have become understandably bitter after watching their deeply held beliefs send so many countries down the crapper. Examples: USSR, China (until they went capitalist), Cuba, North Korea, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia. And up next: Venezuela! Grab some popcorn and chocolate milk. It should be a good show.

Well, it's actually quite simple. Iran obviously thinks they can get away with this kind of thing, partly the fault of the Carter administration allowing it to happen, partly the fault of the UN and world press in making Israel stop.

Eventually the world will demand that it stop. The question is when, and how much harder will it be to stop then than it would be now. Personally, I think the best plan is to first sink the entire Iranian Navy, which would be a lot easier than propagandists here want you to believe, and then declare an irrevocable forfeiture of all Iranian assets in NATO countries, and then politely reiterate the unconditional return of the hostages. They would have no interest in learning the next stage.

If every Individual citizen of America and Britain would simply Sacrifice for two weeks, Car Pool or ride the Bus, the Hostage situation would soon end without a shot being fired! Money talks and the Lack of it in Dictatorial places like Iran would Speak even Louder! Make sure your governments place limits on the cost of oil and avoid Price gouging! Let them Eat oil! Vive La Resistance! Round all of them up, confiscate their holdings and deport them all! Use Napalm if they get too cocky!
