Heaven is depicted as being above which you submise that it somewhere way past the starts or wherever. Hell is depicted as being down below somewhere...... If you down below far enough you will the centre of the earth, if you go out the other side, where I live we would hit China. Has it ever been explained where Hell is supposed to be?

When the bible was written, people believed that the earth was like a snow-globe, but filled with air rather than water. God was supposed to exist outside the glass (called the firmament) and the stars were holes in the firmament that revealed some of God's splendor. The base of the snow-globe was called the shoel. When people would die, they were though to inhabit a kind of purgatory underground. There was no torture, but when Lucifer was cast out of hell, he turned it into hell. That is where the idea of heaven above and hell below comes from. One of Jesus' purposes was to bring people up from the shoel, so they could live above the firmament with God. That is what is meant when people say he "opened the gates to heaven." "He died for our sins" means that he had to die so that he could rescue everyone from hell and let them get into heaven. People only went to the shoel before Jesus came.

God did not create just earth......... he created and entire universe with gazillions of other planets... even more...

He created seven skies.... the sky you see is just the begining of the first........and the sky thats out in space ... is not even close to the end of the first.

Heaven is located above the seven skies.

The land of 'El-Hashr" is where Judgment Day will take place. The land of El-Hashr is not on this Earth, It's not round like a planet. It is a land created especially for this day. It's a HUGE flat land. All of mankind will be present. All of them are to cross over 'Al Serat'. It's like a bridge between the land and heaven. The bridge is sharper than a sword and thinner than a strand of hair. Those who fail to cross will fall below.. in Hell.

Some people believe it is on the sun (so I've heard) some believe it is in the middle of the earth (mostly kids) we won't know unless we go there but technically we still won't know where it is at because we'll basically appear there after we stand before God on judgment day and He states that He never knew you. Once you are saved it cannot be reversed.

You can have hell on earth to but that is an expression! Technically hell and earth and heaven have collided because God's presence is here on earth and satan's demons are all around there are millions of them. Notice I said God's spirit is on this earth. He can be in every place at once but Satan has to use demons sort of like a scary bully, one who talks but has to have others fight for him. He uses his demons to whisper in your ear and do wrong. Satan can only be in one place at one time.

Its kind of complicated.

I'm glad I'll never go there.

Hell is 6 feet down .....the grave.
According to an erroneous idea:
For people in the U.S.A. hell would go to China.
For people in China, Hell would go to U.S.A.
Crazy!
Hell is the grave.

Hell is in a fundamentalist church. I cannot imagine a more horrendous eternal punishment than listening to a sermon by Jerry Falwell or Pat Robertson

Heaven and hell are probably here on Earth and might also even be simply a state of mind. Nothing more and nothing less. It's probably all symbolic.

Life is Hell, we are already here. Have a feeling we'll cross paths later.
