I gave a male colleague a birthday present. I gave him home baked goodies, Beatles CD "LOVE", and stainless steel mug with leather trim - very manly and a birthday card. The baked goodies he almost inhaled ( he text that me that night, to let me know what he did). He almost ate the whole tin in one sitting! So, I know he really loved it. The other two, I told him to open them on his exact birthday - just so he can open something on his special day. I have not heard anything as of yet. I do not know his taste in music, he is between 26-30y. I thought a Beatles CD would be for everyone's generation. He really appreciate that I acknowledge his birthday (text message to me). Would you tell someone if you don't like your birthday present? or, just be nice and be diplomatic eventhough you don't like it? Should I ask him? It's bugging me. I won't see him for 2 weeks. Shall I just wait for him to say something? I kept the bill just in case he wants to return them to me. I doubt if he'll do it.
