Blessed are you, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. Luke 6:22
If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. John 15:18-20
Be glad and full of joy; for great is your reward in heaven: for so were the prophets attacked who were before you
Remember what I told you: 'A servant isn't greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they did what I said, they will also do what you say. (GOD'S WORD®)
These trials are only to test your faith, to show that it is strong and pure. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold--and your faith is far more precious to God than mere gold. So if your faith remains strong after being tried by fiery trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world. 1Pet. 1:6-7NLT

I am also a borgain Christian! Matthew 5:10-12 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
I think its great you are puting to practice these verses Romans 12:1-2 I Beseech you therefore brethren by the mercies of God,that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God with is your resonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and and perfect, will of God.
You really must BURN OUT BRIGHT!!!

Well, Psalm 23 always reminds me that I have a wonderful God who loves me and takes care of me.
Also check out the different letters Paul wrote to the early church, they are filled with reasons to rejoice in persecution and ways to run the good race.
A personal favorite of mine is 1 Timothy 4:12.
Proverbs 4:23- "Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life."
One of the most important things we can do with our lives is guard our heart. Matters of the heart affect our lives. So lift up your eyes to the Lord and in all you do seek to bring glory to Him! =)
Psalm 37:4, 5, 7: "Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass...Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him."
I also love this song... it is so encouraging and always makes me smile because the lyrics are so very true!
33 Miles -( What Could Be Better
From the album 33 Miles)
"I’ve heard it said today
Is all we’re given
Tomorrow may not come
So you better start living
I guess it all depends
On your point of view
Pardon me if I
Just don’t listen
To everything the world
Say’s I’m missing
There’s nothing here and now
I’m gonna hold on to
Chorus:
I’m living in the days ahead
I’m already dancing on the streets of gold
Can’t stop celebrating in my soul
I’m living in the days ahead
Nothing on earth could ever compare
Can’t wait for the day when I get there
When I see Jesus face to face
Tell me what could be better
Tell me what could be better
If home is where the heart is then I’m in Heaven
It’s the promise of tomorrow
That I’ve been given
Who is waiting there I am living for
He’s everything I love
And I believe in
And I can hardly wait
Just to see Him
And hear Him say well done
I couldn’t ask for more
Chorus:
Life is full of ups and downs
Inside outs, round and rounds
Can’t blame me for dreaming about it."
I hope this helps and encourages you!
God Bless!

Depends on what they say.... here is some.
The validity of Christianity does not rest on sinful men but rather on the perfection of Jesus Christ alone. (Hebrews 7:26; 1 Peter 2:22).
" all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28
They cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he brought them out from their distress. Psalm 107:28
The Lord says, "Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you." Isaiah 46:4

the world is full of Christians and has the most followers so obviously it's better than other religions. You should be making fun of them.
Just joking. That's not a Christian thing to do.
Why don't you search the bible and look for yourself.

Well you must be pretty hard core if they make fun of you, because this whole continent is mainly a christian continent (sorry if iv offended anyone else by saying this but its ture, its a christian culture) You just have to keep an open mind to other people's opinions. Dont try to fight for the name of god, he doesnt need your help or whatever i'm sure he'll be fine. Just don't be hard core christian nerd or of course people will make fun of you. (harsh, i know, but it's for your own good)

the mistake you make is using the word Christian, because Christianity is not exactly a winner of the Oscars, I am catholic and I do believe in God and only God nothing more, I do not believe in any form of religion, because religion is man made, and religion is not needed to have a relationship with God, there is no real comfort in any religion, but there is in God the father of all. may God bless.
