On a vacation through Poland, White Russia, to Russia, we discovered what a luxury toilet paper was in 1993. Hope things have changed. We would beg the bus driver to stop out in the boonies to go. Guys went one way, girls another. We used leaves, linning in clothes anything you could get your hands on. Some experienced traveler took along toilet paper and shared. After a few hundred miles the bus restroom would make you throw up to go into it and there was no legal place to empty it. After all these years I doubt the bus driver will get in trouble by me telling that we resorted to illegal dumps. When traveling take Imodem, Laxatives, toiletpaper and painkillers. In places where toilet paper was available, it was rougher than any paper towels I ever used. But we were very glad to get it.

I just hope that I never do. Now I have some strange feeling such a thing will happen at some point just because I saw this. However, seeing how I'm trapped in the house 98% of the time, this shouldn't be a problem anytime soon.

yes, I have the worst sinus issues so I get into sneezing fits and a sock works just fine when you are doing laundry and people are around in the laundromat which of course never keeps paper towels or TP lol

I haven't been in a situation like that, and I really hope I'm never in a situation like that. I think that would be a really horrible place to be in! I guess if I were in a situation like that...I'd just not use anything and rush right home and clean up!

I was in the woods once camping and got a bit of diarrhea.

Leaves just weren't doing the job, so I used my underwear. I then buried it and went commando the rest of the trip.
